What is the Million Dollar Bike Ride for Research?
The Million Dollar Bike Ride brings over 750 cyclists and volunteers to Penn’s campus to ride either 13, 34, or 72 miles starting in the city, and ranging across the Greater Philadelphia region. In six years, 30+ teams have raised over $10 million to fund research grants.

What can I do?
Be a participant and ride! Fundraise with us! Commit to cheering riders on to the finish along the side lines!

What do I do as a fundraiser?
There are two ways you may fundraise with us – as a “Virtual” Rider or an “Actual” Rider.

Virtual Riders are those who cannot attend the event, but wish to raise funds for this event beyond donating. It’s an opportunity to increase awareness and donations for research even if you can’t be there.  We ask that virtual riders raise $500.  Virtual riders will receive a t-shirt and Webster Bear.

To fundraise as a virtual rider:  Go to the SWF Fundraising Page for this event, scroll down to the orange bar that says “Start Fundraising” and click.  You will then be able to set up your own fundraising page and then email it or share it on your personal social media pages.
