In the blink of an eye…pun intended the eye surgeries will be done, and the multiple medical psychosocial, and financial matters will be in your rearview mirror. All you will embrace is the exact same thing this mama who has a son with autism ( but really it could apply to SWS too) said in this article I cut out 25 years ago…and you will smile with tears slipping out of your eyes and a clench in your heart that yes Virginia there is a Christmas and yes his world is joy joy joy down in his heart! Happy 30th birthday Derek “Bucky”, “Buckmeister”, “And Messmaker”, you’ve made a beautiful life and one proud mama!
